Uh, it says in the rules that you have to be at least 15 to take part in the game. However, in the application guidelines it says nobody applying under the age of 16 will be accepted, :/.

If you could make it clear what the minimum age is, that would be awesome, ♥ And, I'm sorry for any trouble, ._.

Two questions (for now, for I am a curious Bookie). 1.) Do I need to make up a last name for my character if they don't have one? and 2.) Can they play more than one instrument?

1. You don't need a last name for your character, if they don't canonly have one. It's totally up to you, though.

2. Your character can be able to play more than one instrument, but they only need to take formal classes for one (since all music classes are at the same time).

What's the main language? Is it required for everyone to know that language? Or are all languages kinda phased into one while they're hear so they can understand everything?

Actually, I have been thinking about that for a while.

I think the solution would be to have the characters automatically know Latin when they arrive here, and have it be the default language for classes, notes, etc. Since it's the root of so many languages already, the most commonly used alphabet in the world, and the fact that the Albergo is closest to Italy, it makes the most sense.

But the characters can still speak in their native tongues if they wish. :]

Would it be possible to get a list of what characters are in which room? Currently the only way to make sure your room isn't taken seems to be looking through every character's post in every fandom's post, and it's a bit tedious.

Actually, we've been keeping a record of who is in what room for reference. It would be a good idea to post that list publicly now.

No real specific date, but it makes the most sense to have it take place in the mid-to-late 1700's. :]

hmm.. was just re-reading the rules... with the limit of having 5 characters, is there any limit to how much they interact? i can see how it could end up a bit like spamming if allowed to run free, but...
and also, about not having two characters from the same series... you set in stone about that? because i just saw someone wants dahlia on board... DAHLIA...

though, i could make do with sanji from OP, if i do decide to rp another character... we need more pirates.

I don't think having two of my own characters interact would be fun, at least for me. In a formal RP like this, I'd rather we all stick to playing with other people's characters. It feels less...awkward, I guess?

I don't think I want to allow more than one character from the same series. Just because I'd like to have a big variety of characters and players alike. Sorry about that...but you can always pimp the community elsewhere!

And moar pirates is good. ;D

well, i wouldn't be having them talk up a storm, but for them to know each other existed would be about it. but good point. if a dahlia did come up, it would be AWESOME, though...
guess i'll could go poke gs ppl again... that's how i got here...

and we could always do with moar pirates. ninjas too, but they don't quite work in this setting... =|. Sanji it is, then!!

Kind of a minor question, but if I wanted to make a quick change to the age of my character, would that be possible? It wouldn't affect their personality any, but I didn't know whether or not what's said on the application is totally permanent.

It mostly died due to the inactivity of mods (beginning of a new school year) and the lack of a real solid plot to keep the game going; however, we've thought about what went wrong, and planned something new and more elaborate this second time around that promises to be much more long-lasting than what we had before.

Another dumb question: What if our character has a really obviously foreign name? Should we change it? I'd like it if Kazuki would be treated as though he had always lived in his country, his parents were born in that country, etc, and having a weird name would kind of throw a wrench in that if people noticed. :D;

one more orz : For the First Person Sample, would it be answered as if they are speaking, or writing? Because I imagine my character's writing would be WAY STILTED while his speech would be full of bad grammar silly intonation.

1. You don't have to change it, but if you feel it would be better it's up to you.

2. That's fine, as long as it's not a huge technological advancement or anything.

3. You can choose for it to be either speaking or writing. It can be an in-person questionnaire (once they get to the Albergo) or a written one (where it comes with the invitation).
